A force of nature
Jojoba is a shrub that grows in arid and semi-desert areas; however, it requires a minimum of rain to flower and produce seeds. It is also referred to as « desert gold. »
Jojoba seeds contain a great deal of oil, which Indian tribes have traditionally used for their beauty care.
A plant with a thousand virtues
Jojoba oil is extracted from the plant’s seeds. Even though it looks like an oil, composition-wise it is in fact a liquid wax.
Jojoba vegetable oil is recognized for its balancing properties, with a composition that is similar to that of sebum. Jojoba oil makes your skin soft, supple and comfortable.
Organic quality
SO’BiO étic® has selected an organic jojoba oil that is grown either in Argentina, Peru or Israel.
In Peru, it is grown along sand dunes. Harvesting occurs when the fruits are mature. Organic jojoba oil is obtained naturally by cold pressing the stones. It is grown according to organic specifications to preserve nature and the environment.
